REPRESENTATION IN THE SCHOOLHOUSE AND IN THE COURTHOUSE

Susan Soto Law, PLLC is a small, personalized law firm that helps clients with a variety of legal problems. ​
Capitalizing on attorney Susan Soto's 17 years of experience in the field of public education, Susan Soto Law, LLC helps students and their parents navigate the education system and supports teachers and other school district employees in employment issues. 

Susan has extensive experience with Tex. Education Code Chapter 21 administrative hearings through the Texas Education Agency.

As an educator in her first career, Susan Soto taught first grade, bilingual first grade, and middle school Spanish. She administered the Title One language arts program at the district level in the Aldine Independent School District and worked as an administrator in elementary, middle and high school in 3 Houston-area school districts. As a principal in the Spring Branch Independent School District, she helped Woodview Elementary School improve its instructional program after it was rated Low Performing by the Texas Education Agency, and within 2 years their rating went from Low Performing to Recognized. 

An attorney since 2011, Susan's second career is also marked by accomplishment. She won the first trial she ever tried, a 3-day jury trial in federal court against the now-defunct La Marque ISD. She is a multi-year attorney honoree of both Houstonia and H Texas magazines and is a 2019 member of the State Bar College, an exclusive group of Texas attorneys who have achieved high levels of continuing legal education.

Susan travels to Austin each year to speak by invitation at the Texas Lions Leadership Forum and is a member of the Stafford-Missouri City Lions Club. She is a member of the Woman's Club of Missouri City, Treasurer of the Quail Valley Quails, and a member of the Board of Directors of the homeowners association where she resides.


Law Practice
Susan is a member of the American Bar Association, the Houston Bar Association, the Fort Bend County Bar Association, and the Brazoria County Bar Association. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court / Southern District of Texas.
